Catalog description

This course is a survey of the subject of genetic analysis in biology. A problem solving approach is used to demonstrate the principles of genetics. Topics include classical Mendelian genetics, chromosomal inheritance, human genetic disease, population genetics, and gene expression. Prerequisites: C or better in BIOL 212 or permission of instructor.
