Catalog description

Study of living systems at the molecular, cellular, and multicellular levels. An introduction to cell chemistry, cell structure and function, energetics, inheritance, reproduction and development. This course and Biology II provide basic information and concepts necessary to understanding living systems and their interrelationships. Students must register concurrently for BIOL 111L.
