Catalog description

The aim of this course is to enhance student abilities to function effectively as professional athletic trainers by educating them on current administrative, professional, organizational, and legal issues in athletic training. Topics include principles and practices of health informatics, emergency planning, creating budgets, facility design, record keeping/medical documentation, medical billing, medical and professional insurances, and legal/ethical issues is healthcare.
