Clinical Practicum II

Catalog description

Clinical Practicum II provides students with an opportunity to apply knowledge and clinical skills gained in previous coursework while also refining their skills and abilities as it relates to current coursework under the direct supervision of a certified athletic trainer or physician. Students will have opportunities to build on previous learning and clinical education experiences. Students will be instructed and assessed on their clinical skills and abilities. Students will work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team, while making evidence informed clinical decisions. The required course credit time will be met through a hybrid approach including in class time and documented clinical education hours.
