Catalog description

We will explore Modern architecture, art, and urban planning in Rome, focusing on three periods: 1) Rome?s transformation after it became Italy?s capital in 1870; 2) Rome under Mussolini and the use of the arts to promote Fascism; 3) Rome?s revival after World War II and its metamorphosis into a vibrant international metropolis.
