Women in Art

Catalog description

This class will study women artists, images of women in art as well as women as patrons, promoters, and critics of art from antiquity to the present. By analyzing art practice, art theory/criticism, and art history, students will understand and integrate the role and contributions of women into the ongoing history of western art.
