The African Diaspora in the Caribbean

This course explores in an inter/multidisciplinary manner, the connections and interchanges between African diasporic locations in the Caribbean and the African continent. It does this by investigating aspects of Caribbean locations that exhibit traits from the African continent, and features a study abroad component that will focus on a particular location in the Caribbean as a practical way to experience what is being learned.
