Catalog description

This course covers the fundamental principles and contemporary practices of the dynamic public relations industry. Through real-world examples and guest speakers, this course teaches students how to share the right message with the right audience at the right time. From PR strategy, planning and execution to various writing and analysis exercises, students will learn traditional and digital skills that PR practitioners use daily in their roles. Topics covered include ethics, DEI, crisis management, branding, media relations, content management and other integrated PR strategy and tactics.
