Non-Profit and Governmental Accounting

Catalog description

This is a graduate-level accounting course designed to provide the students with a detailed understanding of the accounting and reporting for state and local governments in accordance with pronouncements issued by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). Additionally, the course will also cover the unique accounting and financial reporting needs of governmental and non-governmental non-profit organizations.
