Theology and Poetry

Catalog description

This course explores the mutually-illuminating relationship between theology and poetry. it aims to help students gain a working knowledge of what it is to think theologically about poetry and to think poetically about theology. Though readings and course organization will vary from year to year, the course will explore a range of examples or case-studies in the context of key readings from theologians and theorists who have shaped how we think of the intersection of theology and poetry today.
