Catalog description

The objective of this course is to present the student to a wide array of pediatric surgical conditions. The student will be introduced to various congenital anomalies and pediatric surgical pathophysiology. Curriculum consists of exposure to inpatient (operating room, wards, intensive care units), emergency room, and outpatient care. The student is expected to attend all conferences, lectures, and become an integral part of the surgical team. Credit: 1. Enrollment Max: 1. Location: Pediatric Surgery Office (HAFS 6680), 7:00am.
