Elementary Spanish 1 and 2

Catalog description

This 2-credit course covers the elementary Spanish curriculum (Spanish 101 and Spanish 102) in one semester. The course focuses on basic structures, functions and vocabulary with the goal of having students interact, problem solve and collaborate in Spanish. Students work on developing the interpersonal, interpretive and presentational communication modes as well as begin to develop insight into their own language and culture. Not open to students who have had more than one year of Spanish in high school.
