Introduction to Tools of Political Risk Analysis

This course explores the impact of national and subnational government institutions on international business strategy. The course is designed around the theme of political risk analysis, approaching the topic from two perspectives: country and individual firm. Political risk is a type of risk faced by investors, that political decisions, events, or conditions will significantly affect the profitability of a business actor or the expected value of a given economic action. In this course, students will learn tools for measuring and assessing political risk, as well as how smart leaders can make intelligent business strategy decisions in these environments.
