Catalog description

Covers knowledge and skills for open water SCUBA dives, including equipment, skills, history, physiology, and safety protocols. Learn to assemble, disassemble, check and use all equipment; and practice safety skills, buddy rescue, snorkeling, free diving, and work up to SCUBA diving in the dive well. After successful completion of course, student is eligible for a SCUBA certification dive, but this dive is not included in the class schedule or fee.
