Catalog description
The student becomes familiar with evaluation and management of various genetic disorders including malformation syndromes and biochemical disorders. History-taking, pedigree construction and analysis, specialized aspects of the dysmorphological physical examination, diagnostic techniques, routine and specialized laboratory methods (cytogenetic, biochemical, molecular), and reference materials (texts and computer programs) are covered. Students participate in weekly teaching and clinical conferences.
