Pediatric Rheumatology - Comprehensive

Catalog description
This course provides three to four weeks of experience in the evaluation, diagnosis, management, and follow-up of patients with possible rheumatologic diseases. Students will work closely with the pediatric rheumatology team, especially the fellow and attendings, both in the clinic and inpatient service. They will have the opportunity to provide the initial assessment and management plans for patients referred to pediatric rheumatology. Enrollment Max: 1; Credit: 3-4. Permission of the Instructor is required for enrollment. Students should meet at 8:00am on the first day and they must contact Dr. Mary Buckley in advance to confirm meeting location.
