Catalog description

This course is designed to facilitate the advanced practice nursing students' conduction of comprehensive assessments, formulation of differential diagnoses, and development of plans of care to manage acute and chronic health problems in adults and the geriatric population. In collaboration with other health care providers, students provide care for the technologically dependent patient in acute care settings, integrating health restoration, health maintenance, and evidence-based practice.
