Nurse Practitioner Intensive- Clinical Practicum II

Catalog description

This course provides nurse practitioner students with the knowledge, skills and abilities essential to independent and interprofessional practice and support the development of advanced clinical competencies. The course integrates faculty and preceptor facilitated clinical hours with on-campus intensives to ensure students are well-prepared for independent practice at graduation. Emphasis is placed on clinical reasoning, diagnostic acumen, evidence-based decision-making and the delivery of comprehensive, patient-centered care specific to students' specialty populations.
