Catalog description

This course provides an in-depth review of x-ray computed tomography (CT) imaging in medicine. This includes the physics, mathematics, and instrumentation of image formation, the development and use of imaging simulation tools, and paradigms for task-based image quality assessment. Additionally, clinical applications of CT will be reviewed, and students will gain practical experience with imaging informatics systems and standards.
