Elementary Malagasy II

Catalog description

Malagasy is spoken by 25 million people in Madagascar and the Comoro Islands. This course is a continuation of Elementary Malagasy I, and continues to build listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. As students develop interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational skills in Malagasy, they will learn to function appropriately in routine situations in the target culture. Texts include authentic materials and video. Recommended prerequisite: Elementary Malagasy 1 or permission of instructor.
