Catalog description

Intercultural Adaptation is a writing course focused on understanding intercultural communication from a theoretical perspective, and on developing intercultural adaptation skills at DKU and beyond. This course will address what intercultural competence is and what contributes to its development, both during study in a new country but also when studying in one's own country surrounded with people from diverse backgrounds. The course will culminate with project presentations or an event to support the community's efforts to develop intercultural skills. This course will also help you develop academic writing skills while learning content relevant making a positive impact on campus life. 001901
