It is often said that there are three teachings that have defined Chinese society through the ages. Confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism are traditions that have produced some of the most profound, provoking, and funny ideas and practices in the history of humankind. In this course, we will examine these ideas and practices intellectually and experientially. In doing so, you will not only gain a firm knowledge of some of the most important sources of East-Asian culture, but also a new perspective on your own life.' 001329
