Catalog description
This course introduces students to a variety of religious literature and sacred texts from across the world. Students learn how to read and interpret these texts and in this way come to reflect on the nature of religion and its function in human societies. In addition discussing fundamental theological questions about the nature of existence, the course will also examine the practical ways in which religions shape the embodied lives of religious practitioners across the world. 001556
