One Health is a systems-based approach that recognizes the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health. As emerging infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and food safety pose critical global threats, developing and implementing One Health policies has become essential for effective responses. This course provides an introduction to One Health whereby students explore how biological, social, cultural, economic, and ecological factors converge to influence health outcomes and policy effectiveness. Through case studies, policy analysis, and applied research, students will gain practical skills to develop, implement, and evaluate One Health strategies that foster collaboration across disciplines and advance sustainable, holistic health solutions. 002339
