Catalog description

Design of research studies and use of statistical methods to become better consumers, creators, and communicators of psychological research. This course will (1) focus on research methods in psychology, including research design and measurement, ethical issues, and statistical tests for quantitative studies; (2) provide students with hands-on practice with experimental design and programming and data analysis and interpretation. Students will develop the methodological and statistical knowledge and skills to design, program, conduct, and analyze quantitative psychological research that can be applied in their signature work and further studies at DKU and beyond.
