PPE deploys the tools of the contemporary social sciences to inform normative reflection upon the most urgent individual and social choices we face today across many domains: markets, governance, technology, human health, and many more. This course teaches students how to apply the tools of Philosophy, Politics, and Economics to a selection of such challenges. These tools may include various methods of normative reasoning, decision theory, game theory, and social choice theory. Empirical work from a variety of social scientific fields will be utilized in order to inform the relevant normative assessments. 002366
