Computation and Problem Solving is recognized as a key skill set for all 21st century learners. This course will focus on the key aspects of computational thinking: Tasks as a series of steps (algorithms); Problem solution at many levels of detail (abstraction); Solving large problems involves breaking it down into a set of smaller problems (decomposition); New problems are likely related to other problems the learner has already solved (pattern recognition); Solutions to a problem may be used to solve a whole range of similar problems (generalization). 001635
