This course examines problems associated with the interaction of humans with their environment. This course mainly focuses on various global environmental concerns, such as climate change, biodiversity, environmental pollution, and natural resources. This course explores case studies illustrating specific problems in different regions and countries and the proper role of local governments and intergovernmental organizations in the regulation of the environment.
