Catalog description

This course will cover a variety of economics policy-oriented topics throughout the course utilizing the tools of analysis introduced in ECON 101. Examples include the financial crisis in Greece, merger analysis, free trade areas, social security, and unemployment. The course will provide students with an introduction to the topics covered in the advanced classes in economics including industrial organization, public finance, game theory, international trade, and intermediate macroeconomics. 002009
