Catalog description

This course seeks to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and reflective habits necessary to serve as effective and ethical leaders within DKU and beyond. Students will learn about leadership from the perspective of mobilizing people toward shared goals, especially in complex, intercultural environments. Leadership is approached through both theoretical and practical perspectives. On theory days, students will read, discuss, and reflect on examples of leadership in fiction and non-fiction. On practice days, students focus on specific skills that will help them become effective student leaders at DKU and in their future careers. 002416
