Catalog description

As an introductory course for computer science, this course will bring you not only the fundamental knowledge on a variety of CS topics, but also the essential computational problem-solving skills with hands on programming experience. Successfully completing this course will serve a solid foundation for other courses in the computer science or data science major. It can also bring new concepts and tools to other domains in social science, arts humanities and natural science.
