This course introduces a series of readings of Chinese classics, including the Four Books that illustrate the core value and belief system of Confucianism, Taoist classics of Lao Tzu and Chuang Tzu, Zen classic of the Sixth Patriarch (Liuzu tanjing), and Sun Tzu's The Art of War. Selected chapters will be covered by combining the readings with the challenges faced by people today, with an emphasis on uncovering the enduring spirit in the books that transcends time. 001607
