Catalog description

The rapid change in Earth's climate has distinct biological causes and effects and in this course, both will be addressed. Beginning with a review of the Earth's climate system and how it has evolved over time to its current state, students will then examine the human-driven causes of its rapid CO2 and temperature changes. These changes have consequences and detailed examinations of examples such as species range shifts, extinctions, and changes in biological event timing will be discussed. 001429
