Catalog description
Expands interpersonal, interpretive and presentational skills of communication on enduring social and cultural topics, such as food or Chunhyang stories, with grounded understanding with historical and transnational perspectives. Course reading and materials introduce and analyze historical changes, cultural practices, and ethical issues revolving around the topics, which students explore further in individual and group projects. Recommended prerequisite: Korean 204 or equivalent (fluency in speaking, familiarity with culture, some experience in reading and ability to write a short description).
