Literacy and speech register in Korean

Catalog description

Develops literacy skills for students highly fluent in conversational Korean but lacking in experience with written genres and broad social and academic discourses. Diversifies vocabulary knowledge and strengthens grammatical control through reading and discussing texts ranging from traditional folktales to contemporary multimedia materials. Students with requisite background should contact instructor for a permission number.
