Catalog description

Self-directed exploration of Japanese using short stories, manga, videos, news, and other materials. Development of reading fluency, listening comprehension, vocabulary, and confidence in expressing ideas in Japanese through extensive reading, reflective learning, presentations, discussions, and communication with classmates and language partners in Japan. Designed for students with at least one year of prior Japanese study. Instructor permission required.
