Bone and Soft Tissue Multidisciplinary Experience

This 2 week course will provide a deep dive into musculoskeletal (MSK) disorders, focusing mostly on the diagnosis of bone and soft tissue neoplasms, their presentation and clinical management. This collaborative and integrated course will expose students to orthopedic pathology, surgery, and radiology subspecialties. Students will participate in cross-disciplinary conferences and tumor boards, a multidisciplinary clinic, imaging interpretations, and diagnostic and intraoperative consultation within surgical pathology. In addition to this in-depth exposure to MSK disorders, this rotation aims to provide students a better understanding of the intersection of these highly interactive healthcare teams.
