Catalog description

The PIONEER curriculum will allow for students to learn essential clinical skills in an ambulatory setting with longitudinal contact with preceptors and patients. The course is a total of 16 weeks and includes didactic and applied content, ambulatory internal medicine, pediatrics, neurology, and obstetrics-gynecology. All students will also complete shifts in the emergency department and have unscheduled time which they can use to design experiences to help with career exploration and advancement of clinical skills.
