Catalog description

This course consists of introductory skills in searching, critically reading, and interpreting the medical literature. Students learn how to construct focused clinical questions to discover answers to important patient care questions. Content is delivered through interactive large group sessions and small group exercises. In April, the course culminates in MBS Scholar's Day, for which each student prepares and presents a required capstone scientific poster. Course Director Dr. Jamie Fox. Prerequisite: none. Credit: 4 (Degree Requirement) Grading Basis ABCF.
