Catalog description

Supervised instructional experience as instructor of record, teaching assistant, or other primary facilitator of instruction—including peer observation of teaching—in an off-campus college setting, with mentoring and reflection connecting practice to pedagogy. Prerequisites: 1) students must be concurrently teaching in an approved instructional appointment at a host institution; 2) students must have completed or be enrolled in another course or training with a pedagogical focus. Fulfills the teaching and observation requirement for the Certificate in College Teaching.
