Catalog description
This course supports early-career academics in developing a professional teaching portfolio that includes a teaching statement, CV, and evidence of teaching effectiveness and academic engagement. It emphasizes inclusive approaches to teaching, reflective and evidence-informed practice, effective design principles, and peer feedback to strengthen materials. Participants are expected to have prior or concurrent training and experience in higher education. The course fulfills a requirement for The Graduate School's Certificate in College Teaching. Instructor consent required.
