Catalog description

This course trains students in data analytics in health research and population health sciences, bridging epidemiology, biostatistics, and applied data analytical methods. This course exposes students to complex data analysis methods, enabling them to work with population-based, clinical trial, and real-world data to advance health economics and outcomes research. Real-world clinical and research applications are emphasized throughout the course. Students will learn to evaluate research designs and lead data-driven health research projects using industry-standard statistical software. This course prepares students for careers in pharmaceutical companies, health analytics consulting, public health agencies, and research institutions. Recommended prerequisite: Intro-level statistics or quantitative analysis course. Taught at Duke Kunshan University.
