Population Health and Policy

Catalog description

This course introduces students to key concepts, major debates, and recent research in social demography and population health with an emphasis on (1) demographic methods to assemble and interpret data and evidence (2) the determinants of population composition and change, and of patterns of health outcomes (3) the connections between population change, population health and public policy.
