Catalog description
Examines internship experience in context of personal, professional and environmental ethics. Marries internship experience with critical engagement with peer-reviewed literature, academic texts, essays, videos, and podcasts. Students engage in reflective conversations with co-workers and peers to practice weighing evidence, synthesizing research, articulating own perspective through writing and revising. Employs written reflection to examine lessons learned through internship experience and enhance transfer of lessons to new situations. Online course available only in summer. Department consent required.
