Catalog description

Advanced calculus-based treatment of microeconomic theory and game theory. Additional applications vary at the discretion of the instructor, and could include consumer choice, firm behavior, imperfect competition, bargaining, auctions, market design, voting, decision making under uncertainty, insurance markets, adverse selection, moral hazard, signaling games. Prerequisite: ECON 201D and (MATH 202D, 212, 219, 222, or any higher-level MATH course with MATH 212 as a prerequisite) and (ECON 104D, or STA 230, 231, 240L, or 432).
