Catalog description
Leading for sustainability will cover basic skills for managing and leading others, including motivating others, designing incentive systems, leading teams, and making effective decisions. These topics will include applications to sustainability, such as creating effective internal metrics for measuring and rewarding sustainable behavior. The course will also examine the challenges of leading organizations to incorporate and execute on sustainable goals. The course will analyze the dynamics of power and politics in organizations, the challenges of polarization among stakeholders, and strategies for leading organizational change. This course is for MBCS students.
