Catalog description

Project-based course designed to develop and produce cinematic arts projects. Students will create individual projects in narrative, documentary, experimental, and artists' cinemas while honing their skills in screenwriting, cinematography, editing, animation, installation, and/or sound design as projects require. Cinematic Arts faculty and guest creators will critique works in progress. Prior video production experience recommended. Reserved for Visual and Media Studies majors in the Cinematic Arts concentration who can begin projects to carry over to the Capstone course. All other students require instructor consent.
