Catalog description

Design of biomedical devices emphasizing formal engineering design principles, as well as building and testing a prototype. Lecture topics include engineering design, intellectual property protection, engineering ethics, and safety. Oral and written reports are required. Used for new design courses in BME. Prerequisites: Senior standing and consent of the instructor.
