Research and writing skills for students completing an honors thesis; bibliography, library and on-line research; use of archives; picture research and other research skills relating to the history of art; organization of material and preparation for writing; drafting, editing, and production of a finished text; use of scholarly conventions of referencing, footnoting etc. Compulsory for seniors preparing a graduation with distinction dissertation in art history. Instructor consent required.
