Catalog description

The Anesthesiology clerkship will allow for students to be exposed to the practice of anesthesiology and perioperative medicine. The course is 1 week long and includes didactic and applied content, as well as clinical experience in the perioperative environment. The student will learn about the broad scope of the anesthesiology and perioperative medicine, which includes general and subspecialty surgeries, labor and delivery, acute and chronic pain management, and critical care medicine.
